PwC survey finds over regulation is ‘top CEO concern’

PricewaterhouseCoopers has released its 18th global survey of business leaders citing over regulation as the top CEO concern – up six points from last year. Other high-priority risks include the lack of key skills in the talent pool, government responses to the fiscal deficit and debt burden, geopolitical uncertainty, cyber security and social instability.

The survey did not include questions about climate change after concerns in last year’s survey only registered with 10% of respondents. PwC said that climate change did not make it into the list of top 19 risks CEOs were questioned about due to a lack of interest.
